Responsible for all phases of the real estate, construction and maintenance functions necessary for the operation and expansion of this publicly-owned regional (California, Hawaii & Nevada) drug store chain, including its stores, shopping centers distribution facilities and corporate headquarters. Principal duties were (i) to implement its store expansion.

Involved in all phases of Kaiser Aetna's commercial development activities in the Western United States. Principal Duties were (i) the negotiation, drafting and reviewing of all real estate documents, (ii) advising management on the risk/reward and legal ramifications of various transactions and (iii) the implementation of a liquidation plan for commercial.

Responsible for the preparation of all documentation relating to shopping center, industrial park and office building development activities. Performed various legal duties for other Genstar subsidiaries and for Sutter Hill Ventures (a venture capital company).

Primary areas of practice were business, real property and construction law (specifically, corporations, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, real estate development and construction.
