Project Manager, National Network For Equitable Library Service
Currenthttps://nnels.caProject Manager for the National Network for Equitable Library Service (NNELS https://nnels.ca), a service used by libraries across Canada which offers books in accessible formats to print disabled library users• Responsible for management of the NNELS budget• Designs project plans and requirements, and ensures timelines and deliverables are met• Coordinates workflow and projects for remote teams and contractors• Reports directly to Executive Director of BC Libraries Cooperative, and the NNELSBoard• Consults with libraries across Canada to implement the NNELS service• Collaborates with key management staff to improve workflow processes in a distributedwork environment• Supervisor for three direct reports, and also manages a variety of external contractors• Primarily use Toggl, IRC, Skype for managing remote teams/contractors• Have expanded the NNELS Service nationally, and also brought the service to post-secondaries• Have strengthened the NNELS brand by forming partnerships with literary awardgroups (e.g. Governor Generals Literary Awards), Canadian publisher associations, andother Canadian print disability groups• Enhanced the NNELS web property so that it is one of the most accessible websites inCanada
