Our insights and bold interpretations of trends and drivers seek to increase our understanding of market affordability imbalances; housing supply gaps; and, risks to financial stability. Our products and services includes industry consultation, presentations, reports, publications and various social media content.

Led a team of housing market experts in the production of quality, reliable and methodologically sound market analysis and housing forecasts within the Atlantic region. This includes the managing the communication of analysis and forecasts to the housing industry and other stakeholders to support informed decision making, managing networks and partnerships and advancing CMHC's corporate objectives and housing research and data plans.

Led a team of mortgage loan insurance underwriting professionals to manage CMHC's business and risk targets for homeowner mortgage loan insurance. Coaching, motivating and training staff in the areas of risk management, quality assurance, property valuations and exceptional client servicing were key responsibilities. Ensuring adherence to established guidelines on risk tolerances and actuarial trends were a focus. During this period, numerous regional and national operational efficiencies were identified and implemented and resulted in higher service quality levels and lower costs to operations.

Built and maintained a strong network of senior level contacts within the mortgage division of one of Canada's largest banks as Key Account Manager. This included managing bi-annual quality assurance and business performance reviews, product and policy integration, joint mortgage risk and business profiling. Duties also included leading a regional team of business development professionals to implement sales and marketing strategies in support of mortgage loan insurance business targets. Coaching, training and marketing strategy development were all key aspects of the role.
