Responsible for the technical oversight of Internal Research and Development (IRAD) and contract related efforts associated with PAC-3 MSE integration capture pursuits. This included the staffing of each project, coordination with program management counterparts to align budgetary and schedule requirements, leading proposal efforts within the area, and regular interactions with both internal and external customers.

This not only includes the currently identified areas of interest but also continuously pursuing other areas of interest and opportunities that are both internal and external to the company. One of the primary purposes of the LCP IRAD is to serve the Lines of Business (LOB) by identifying new and novel technologies that meet their current and future program needs, so consistent communication with key contacts in the LOBs is essential. Additionally, the LCP IRAD encompasses the efforts associated with the Affordability Test Bed (ATB), a modular and program independent Hardware in the Loop facility, which has proven to be a key discriminator for MFC. I am the Integration lead for the Affordability Test Bed (ATB) lab that is a new addition to the Advanced Technology Development group within Applied Research (AR). The ATB is an environment that allows for rapid prototyping of COTS/GOTS components for incorporation into military applications. The ATB is an environment that allows for rapid prototyping of COTS/GOTS components for incorporation into military applications. The primary task during 2013 was to get the lab "stood-up" and integrate a number of new subsystems. This setup is designed to be a modular, program independent hardware in the loop environment. My specific responsibilities include the development, testing, and integration of hardware interconnects, driver level software and firmware, graphical user interfaces, and assisting in the management and vision casting for the IRAD. Another key component has been the standalone characterization of sensors for quick insertion into existing programs. I have devised unique and low cost testing solutions in order for these to be accomplished. Within AR, we pride ourselves on being flexible and willing to take on challenges and that fits my work mentality well. I was the PATRIOT Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) Telemetry Lead on the PAC-3 Integrated Fire Control test at Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) . I was the main telemetry point of contact for UTTR and helped ensure that a new flight test range was ready to support a PAC-3 flight test for the first time ever. I played a similar role on the FTI-01 mission at Reagan Test Site in Kwajalein. I was the Telemetry and Flight Termination System lead for the Long Range Anti-Ship Missile Variant B. This included the technical oversight of the design of the system, coordination between multiple disciplines internally, coordination with the flight test ranges, oversight of $5.7M worth of subcontracts, and the leadership and management of my team.

I was the telemetry lead for the Sea-Based Missile Segment Enhancement Concept and Development phase on PAC-3. My primary responsibilities during this time were: PAC-3 ED & MSE TM support during flight tests at WSMR; development of quick turn solutions for telemetry needs across multiple programs; and product design support and manufacturing liaison for the MEADS Telemetry Interface Assembly, which is a test support product that I designed.

Recently, my focus has been on the design and integration of the Telemetry Interface Assembly (TIA). The TIA consists of the Missile Telemetry Interface (MTI) and the Launcher Telemetry Interface (LTI). A short time in to my initial hiring, I transitioned into the Instrumentation group in support of the PATRIOT Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) program and specifically the Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) program.
