I currently work as a freelance content creator (writer, photography, social media) and researcher in Travel, History, Genealogy and Lifestyle. I have been fortunate enough to work with Ancestry.com, Holiday Inn, VISIT FLORIDA, Shelter and Roost, Sleep Number, Ping Pong Productions, Travel & Leisure, Lark Hotels and Viking River Cruises. I have a love for international travel, unique cultural experiences and locations/destinations with strong or odd historic ties. I enjoy photography just as much as I enjoy story telling - I mainly work with my Canon T3i and Canon 20D but will occasional opt for my iphone depending on the activity. I have traveled to 25 countries and have recently moved from New England (USA) to a small town located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast (Australia).

I supplied two written articles and two video blogs a month to the Ancestry.com blog. I was responsible for content, research, editing/producing video, etc. All the videos and articles revolved around genealogy or history based topics.

For over a year I worked as the co-lead investigator for the television series Ghost Hunters International on the Syfy channel. During that time, I traveled to over 20 countries investigating claims of paranormal activity in everything from homes, forts, Mayan ruins, caves and castles. My role on the show revolved around researching the history of the location, investigating the location (trying to find a rational explanation for the claims) based on the history (as well as other factors) and weigh in on the final evidence.

For over 3 years I worked as a Historical Researcher and Investigator for the television series Ghost Hunters on Syfy. The show traveled throughout the United States investigating claims of the paranormal in everything from residences to historical locations. My role was to research the history of each location to see if the history played into or could help explain the claimed activity. Beyond the research, I also investigated the location - looking for rational explanations to help debunk or explain the claims. Was known on the show as a no nonsense, skeptical female who was not afraid to go into locations alone.

I worked on three episodes of Destination Truth on the Syfy channel as a guest investigator and on screen talent. The first, an episode that set out to find proof of the Jersey Devil in New Jersey. The second, an episode shot in Ireland for a Live St. Partick's Day episode and the third, I was called in to review and give my opinion on evidence captured at one of their recent investigations.
