I have been working within healthcare from 2008 in roles within the Scottish Government, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, Marie Curie, NHS Lothian and most recently back with the Centre for Sustainable Delivery hosted by the Golden Jubilee National HospitalI have worked with healthcare data from ISD and directly from NHS boards to create useful information and analysis to further quality improvement activities. I have created bespoke analysis tools in R/R Studio and Microsoft Excel to illustrate complex issues within secondary care.Throughout these roles I have regularly met with a diverse range of NHS staff including Board Directors, Clinical Leads and Service Managers to provide support when implementing change, to develop management information reports and with analysis of complex systems of service delivery. I have successfully managed these relationships to facilitate service redesign by tailoring my approach, data visualisation, and communication styles to suit the audience.I have delivered training, analysis and presentations at national NHS meetings to explain and demonstrate quality improvement data in action.In 2018/19 I have completed the Scottish Improvement Leader (ScIL) course run by NHS Education for Scotland (NES).I have undertaken training in project management (Prince2 practitioner), Lean processes, and in Statistical Process Control.I attained a First Class Honours Degree in Management Science (using data to make business decisions) from Stirling University.
