Proj Mgt - Contracts Government And Property Procurement Supply Chain Specialist Analyst
CurrentProject Management - Supplier/Supply Procurement Management:• Conduct business with diverse supply chain cross functional teams to document and track project supply chain costs for RFP’s, RFQ’s, RFB’s.• Track lost, damaged, destroyed, and cannibalized products and property to ensure that contracts and proposals are correctly reimbursed, credited, or re-negotiated for loss of time and materials.• Compile and analyzed statistical data and reports to determine feasibility of buying products, while establishing price objectives. • Compile information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes, while conferring with suppliers and reviewing suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and determined lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, compliance, and ability to meet required schedules. • Review proposals, prepared bid packages, negotiates prices, selected or recommended vendors and suppliers, while analyzing trends, following up on orders placed, verified delivery requirements, approves payment options and maintained documentation and records. • Work with engineering and cross functional teams to purchase materials and parts while negotiating supplier terms, prices, and delivery schedules using knowledge of budget and schedule requirements. • Research and compile project quote information and records to prepare purchase orders for the procurement of material, goods, and supplies, while participating in lean and cost reduction projects.• Communicate, create and track contract requirements with vendors and suppliers to meet project cost, goals and schedules, while updating bills of materials based on review of drawings, parts lists, and project scope requirements. • Responsible to remedy and address purchase order exceptions involving contracted related issues, to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of customer’s requirements, conduct root cause corrective action events, (RCCA).
