Over the past decade, rum, a category with a deep history and a loyal global fan base, has quickly evolved from a budget-friendly mixer into a premium spirit. Whether you’re new to rum or a life-long rum aficionado, our goal is to show a whole new way to look at rum and the thriving community with rum culture at its epicentre. Our festival sadly did not come to fruition due to the pandemic, however, we provide rum facts, cocktail recipes, and events to showcase this diverse spirit.

Produced by Design Exchange in partnership with the United Nations, EDIT celebrated the intersection of design, innovation, and technology in shaping our future for the better. Dubbed as the "Festival of the Future", visitors immersed themselves in guest-curated pavillions by contemporary leaders with exhibitions that demonstrated the most inspiring design, innovation and technology solutions to real-world problems.As Operations Strategist, managed the successful operations and execution of this inaugural ten-day expo produced in an abandoned factory. Led a core team of 15 staff and further contract staff, which included training, strategizing the best operational procedures with use of project management skills and working with internal and external stakeholders. This included but not limited to the City of Toronto, Toronto Fire Department, AGCO, and various marketing/PR agencies, media outlets, etc. Additional duties included managing sponsor relations for major partner exhibitions and media lounge, organizing third-party and media events, opening donor dinner and party, and leveraged existing relationships to curate the food and beverage offerings including a café and outdoor beer garden.

Named one of the Best New Restaurants by Canada's Best 100, Air Canada's enRoute Magazine, and mentions from the likes of Vogue and Bloomberg Travel, DaiLo is a bi-level Asian brasserie & snack bar on trendy College Street in Toronto with French-inspired Chinese fare & dim sum.As the Social Media Consultant, I managed and produced content for three social channels - Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Additionally I assisted with their media launch event and provided consultation on various marketing initiatives and promotions.

Founded in 1993, Bensimon Byrne is one of Canada’s largest independently owned, full-service agencies and is comprised of the main advertising agency, OneMethod advanced digital media lab, Narrative PR and The Button Factory video production unit. The agency employs 200 people and has worked with a host of blue-chip companies and brands, producing some of Canada’s most effective and memorable brand positioning and advertising. As the Operations Manager, I managed the day-to-day operations of a full-service agency with three divisions and over two-hundred employees. This included hiring, training and supervising the office administration team members which grew to include reception, office admin, and facilities. I also liaised with partners and senior managers to recruit and orientate new staff while cultivating and upholding the company’s core values and culture. This was done through Town Halls, internal communications, and events including a 20th-anniversary block party, AGMs, fundraising campaigns, and holiday parties. Additionally managed all special projects related to the organization including company re-brand, multiple office moves, functional office design and content creation that highlighted agency work, awards, and employees for agency marketing and social media channels.
