HackGwinnett is an educational Computer Science workshop program. I am a junior officer of the organization as well as workshops catering to K-8 students in GCPS. Events we have hosted include weekly CS education workshops, tutoring sessions, panel series with professionals and a hackathon. We also aspire to make hackathons a less exclusive event and are building a framework so that economically challenged areas are able to host a hackathon using our architecture (judging system, mass-email registry, website, sponsors).

Apart of a 30 high school student class dedicated to growing and enhancing leadership skills in young community members. Local government officials come to speak to this class of students to instill a sense of purpose and drive among the student body in order to create effective change in the city of Lawrenceville. Students are currently developing a Lawrenceville-centered mental health event targeted toward teenagers in the area, which will involve a night of fun, games, and important discussions regarding mental health.
