I have over 20 years of experience as an IT professional and currently lead the IT department at Access Self Storage, one of the UK's top self storage providers. My responsibilities include overseeing the IT infrastructure and operations for over 60 sites across the country, as well as the Head office, ensuring that business processes and systems run smoothly.I have a strong track record of implementing and maintaining cloud-based technologies such as Azure, WVD, Office 365, Mimecast, and Veeam to enhance performance, scalability, and resilience. Additionally, I have extensive experience in managing VMware, Hyper V, Azure Firewall, Terminal Server, Printer Server, Lync Server, Exchange, VOIP, and data security. Furthermore, I have obtained the CISO certification from EC-Council and the PECB Data Protection Officer certification to advance my career in Information Security.Staying updated on the latest IT trends and developments is important to me, and I strive to apply them to my role whenever applicable. My ultimate goal is to empower the IT infrastructure to deliver the best customer service and experience possible through effective and reliable IT solutions.
