KK has extensive experience in thermal insulation systems, materials & applications in industrial, building & cold storage sectors for 32+ years. He is passionate about the green building movement. He has made major contributions to the movement by presenting widely acclaimed technical papers on thermal insulation as a tool for energy conservation. His paper titled "Thermal Insulation System for Energy Efficient and Green Buildings" is widely recognized as a path breaking contribution to the field.KK has been heading Marketing and Technical Services Functions at Lloyd Insulations since 1991. His work as a part of the leadership team enabled the company to multiply its revenues by 10 times over 30 years, & maintain a market share of >70%. He has been a strategic leader in collaborating with various departments to establish streamlined processes. He has spearheaded introduction of new products into the market, with a keen focus on prefabricated & energy efficient products, a first for the thermal insulation industry. He has been a key part of teams that have successfully procured major orders, few of which were first of their kind in India. KK has been conducting various in-house training programs for employees of various levels.KK is the past president of American Society of Heating & Refrigerating Engineers (ASHRAE) – India Chapter. During his leadership ASHRAE-India Chapter increased its footprint considerably. KK currently chairs the Chapter Technology Transfer Committee (CTTC). Under his chairmanship CTTC has successfully organized several national & international conferences. He is recognized as a ‘Region At Large’ (RAL) Regional Lecturer, one of the only 3 in India. RAL comprises of Asian & a few European & African Countries’ Chapters. As a RAL Regional Lecturer, KK visits various academic institutes and other chapters as well.KK would preside over the Delhi Chapter of Indian Society of Heating & Refrigerating Engineers (ISHRAE) from April 1, 2020. As a member of the Core Committee of Experts at BEE, KK contributed to the drafting of the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) of India in 2007. He has been a part of the team which had drafted the technical standards for cold storage construction in India at National Horticulture Board. He has held training programs for upgraded thermal insulation systems in private & government institutions. Additionally he is also a member of the thermal insulation committee under The Bureau of India Standards (BIS).He has widely traveled across the globe for both business and leisure purposes
