About ASHRAE India Chapter

The ASHRAE India Chapter was approved by Society in the Atlanta, Georgia Meeting on Feb 15, 1990. Mr. David S. Butler, ASHRAE President, inaugurated the Chapter on March 29, 1990. This was the first Indian Chapter and hence members of the Chapter were from all over India. The first Chapter President was Dr. Prem C Jain. Some of the key members who founded the chapter are Mr. M M Pande, Mr. R V Simha and Mr. V K Wadhwa.
