Roles & Responsibilities • Preparation of Method statements & ITP for Civil & Track Works as per the requirement of the Project Specifications.• Preparation & Submission of Material Approvals Request (MAR) as per the drawings• Conducting Inspections for witnessing the Track Geometry works wrt to IRF and Closing the same.• Conducting Mockups for Track Works (Pullout Test, Repetitive load test, Fatique Test , 3rd Rail Bracket fixings, Rectification works etc)• Involved in Preparation of Specimenns like Repetitive Load Test Concrete Specimens, Fatique Test Specimens etc• Witnessed the Fatique Test for 3 samples in CSIR Organization Chennai.• Witnessed the FBW Machine Rail samples Testing in Third part laboratory (Hardness,Bend,Macro&Micro & Fatigue Tests) in Jeddah/Dammam –KSA• Ensuring the work is carried as per the LS and approved drawing duly coordinating the Clients and taking the approvals for the same until closing the IRF’s• Ensuring closing of NCR’s (if any) immediately with effective Preventive & Corrective Actions.• Executing the Rectification Works carried in the project as per the approved MS• Conducting Quality Checks in NATM tunnel works.• Ensuring all the materials used in installation are as per specifications and approved.• Preparation of audit procedures and checklists.• Internal quality checks prior to client inspection before concreting.• Carrying out regular surveillance inspections for activities on site and that of Secondary Subcontractors.• Interact with Safety and ensure all permits are available for works on site and all safety precautions are taken.• Coordinating with the independent testing laboratory together with QA/QC and ensuring necessary resources are provided.• Manage project service and product verification and inspection the project consistent with criticality assessments and contractual and regulatory obligations.

Responsible for inspecting contractor’s work in their daily routine.Responsible for Quality Control including control of laboratory testing on soil and concrete works, .Controlling concrete batching plants on day to day basis, routine testing of earthwork and concrete works..Quality assurance in accordance with BIS & other relevant standards,setting up and operation of laboratory.• Evalute the QC Results• Supervising and Monitoring all the Civil Works like Embankment • Quantity Estimations (Earthwork & Permanent way)• Periodic reviewing & monitoring the progress of the project• Preparation of Barcharts ,Bills and Daily/Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports• Conducting Quality Control tests in Laboratory /field• Marking Bridges wrt to Alignment as per approved drawings• Monitoring projects with respect to cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs, Quality • Compliance & Manpower planning on project sites. Permit to Work System Approval• Material receiving inspection and ensure that material complied with required standards• Certifying & Verification of RA Bills raised by Execution Agency• Preparation of Final Inspection Reports for Client Submittal• Good Knowledge in Safety & Environment• ISO Specifications & Procedures• Preparation of Quality Assurance plans for the running projects
