In my position, I've tackled a wide array of Mechanical Engineering tasks, playing a key role in advancing product development.Responsibilities: - Conceptualize, design, and optimize mechanical components, structure and systems for spectrometer & its accessories. I have been involved in complete product cycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs and documentation, meeting project and industry standards seamlessly. Resolving shop floor issues by working closely with assembly team. - Prototyping & Validation: I lead the transformation of concepts into physical prototypes, rigorously test them, and validate their performance for optimal results. - Drawings, ECN, ECR & BOM: I Handled the documentation processes to ensure seamless flow of production floor. Technical Skills: - CAD, CAM, CAE: I employ SolidWorks for 3D modeling and draft using GD&T concepts. I create GA drawings and block diagrams using DraftSight. The product rendering is done by using solidwork visualization - DFMEA, DFM, DFS: I use these design principles to ensure accuracy & error proofing. - BOM, ECN, ECR & Product documents: Handling the documentation using these concepts to track the design changes & keeping the data in order. - Analysis: Designed components analysed for weight & cost reduction. Reducing chances of failure Key Projects: - Oil spectrometer: Led & Designed the structure, covers & system for an Oil spectrometer. Tested the proto type & validated the same. I have been involved in the complete product cycle from conceptualizing to release of product documents. - Electrode sharpener: It is an mechanical automatic sharpener used to sharpen the tip of graphite rod at a specific angle, in which I used a 24V DC motor by analysing torque & RPM requirements.
