As a recent graduate of Boston University Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine Program, my previous field placement was at Fenway Health. I worked with a caseload of 8-9 individual clients and had been generating therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual client. I also have experience co-facilitating therapy groups within the agency. I have a deep passion for working with folks in underprivileged and underserved communities who may not always have access to mental health care. I am also interested in working with minority populations and individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. Thus far my skills include proficiency in documentation timeframes, compliance with deadlines, generating culturally informed assessments of clients to inform interventions based on supervisor observation and self-report, and providing an empathic and strengths-based environment for clients in order to build rapport and strengthen therapeutic alliance.
