Oncolytic cancer vaccinesI am investigating the use of oncolytic virus VSV-GP for therapeutic cancer vaccination in heterologous prime-boost setting with other vaccine platforms. Additionally, I am using my expertise in tumor immunology to understand how the tumor microenvironment is remodeled after VSV-GP therapy. • I have set up various flow cytometry panels for assessment of vaccine-induced immune responses using tetramers or intracellular cytokine staining (ICS) and characterization of changes in the tumor microenvironment• I have established single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNASeq) using the BD Rhapsody platform in our group for deep profiling of VSV-GP immunotherapy induced tumor microenvironment changes • I am responsible for design, execution and co-ordination of in vivo studies• I am experienced in functional assays such as ELISPOT and DC co-culture assays • I have experience in analyzing Nanostring gene expression data Techniques: FACS, ELISPOT, T cell assays, scRNASeq, Nanostring Softwares: FlowJo, Seqgeq, nSolver, Prism etc.Project Management Skills:• Management of multiple projects with collaboration partners in industry (Boehringer Ingelheim, ViraTherapeutics, AMAL Therapeutics) and in academia (Tübingen) • Ability to meet strict deadlines while dividing time between competing priorities such as lab work, writing, reporting progress, training of various students • Delegation of tasks to technicians, master and PhD students under my supervisionCommunication skills & scientific writing:• Presented data in various meetings with collaborators and scientific meetings to diverse audience with different scientific backgrounds• Helped in securing 360000 Euros funding (BRIDGE Grant) from the FFG• Utilized regular updates and prompt communication for engaging various collaboration partners • Writing of scientific documents including manuscripts, applications for grants and animal experimentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
