I didn’t think I was made for sales until COVID hit the world; many unexpected transformations happened, but for me, it is my career change transformation from technical to the business team.After working in a project management & technical role for 12 years, I felt that my job lacked the necessary challenge to satisfy my professional aspirations. Consequently, I decided to pursue a more demanding business-focused role that would leverage my MBA degree. After an extensive search in my internal org, I eventually secured a new job that met my requirements. In the last four years, my role has been that of a sales and relationship manager. The role has been both challenging and rewarding, with consistent achievement of my sales targets and notable progression in my career. While the job initially presented challenges, I have been able to master it with time, and I continue to learn and develop professionally.Taking calculated risks often leads to greater professional growth than sticking to a safe and comfortable career path.
