Batch Activities:*Enhancement and Develop automated and manually submitted customer batch jobs.*Able to fix basic error and enhance the Batch Modules.*Invoke resolution and restart procedures in case of failures in the batch jobs.*Add, Modify, Delete, Completing the Jobs and application in the Daily Plan, Late Job Analysis.*Adding applications, Handling error list, holding & releasing jobs, modifying existing occurrences.*Performing Work station Changes, Workstation Link/unlink start/stop.*Performing temporary changes in procedure library ie proclib*Schedule on-request batch jobs that require immediate execution.*Initial diagnosis on JCL abend and fix minor issue.*Add/Delete Dependency for jobs and Applications.Console Activities:*IPL execution through GDPS and manually*Performing Pre/Post IPL Health Checks.*Perform automated start up and shutdown of the production operating system.*Performing HMC tasks such activating & de-activating LPAR's, Reset clear and Loading.*Analyzing the Console messages and replying to the WTOR.*Modifying service class, priority of jobs, Performing system health checks.*Handling resource contentions, conflicts on production system, Starting/Draining the JES Initiators.*Handling tape and DASD related issues.*Manage JES2 spool and diagnose hardware and software problem escalating to the support team.*Deleting/Restart messages in the Queues (MQ).*Handling CICS Regions, Disable/Enable CICS transactions, Purge a CICS task.*Open/Close/Restart of ATMS, DB2 Table Synchronization.*Close/ Open a File (CICS), Change maximum transactions for a CICS transaction class.*Switching online regions from Production to Production availability at the time of Service Window.*Handling the CPU utilization with the Resource.*Changing the MIPS value/Adjusting the system weight.
