Krishnan has over two decades of core Insurance domain experience having worked in different emerging markets in the Asia Pacific region. Presently working in the area of Inclusive Finance in the Pacific as Programme Manager for the UNCDF Pacific Insurance and Climater Adaptation Programme based in Suva, Fiji. He is responsible for overseeing Programme implementation across the Pacific Small Island developing states. Krishnan has led and implemented a wide range of access to finance initiatives across the Pacific including mobile and branchless banking, micro insurance, micro pensions, savings and credit. His present role includes leading a diverse team of technical specialists in implementing the first of its kind Climate Risk Insurance programme within UNCDF.
