I am academician and researcher in the field of horticulture, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Himalayan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (HICAST) in Kathmandu, Nepal. With a Master's degree in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) from the University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot, Karnataka, India, and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (Horticulture) from HICAST. I have a strong foundation in sustainable horticultural practices and post harvest technology. Several researches focused on optimizing fertilizer utilization in cauliflower production and investigating integrated plant nutrient management systems for broad leaf mustard and post harvest shelf life of tomato, grapes, capsicum, lettuce and many more. I have also contributed to various market-driven projects under USAID's Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Legume Systems Research. I have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, covering topics such as hydroponic farming, micro greens, and vertical farming. Additionally, actively involved in professional development, holding memberships in esteemed organizations such as the Nepal Horticulture Society, and continues to contribute to the academic and agricultural communities through teaching, research, and advisory roles.
