This effort expanded the reach of the organization into additional districts and provinces, opening up new opportunities for growth and future collaboration while providing valuable insights to the team.Krish conducts targeted research and analysis to develop defined components of work products, such as documents, reports, and project proposals where canopy's work can be integrated into Nepal's education policy. He assists in these reports by engaging in Learner's Hub programs and collecting metrics of students, learners as well as the environment of schools participating in Katha Bunaun and EIC sessions. These reports not only captures the scholars' journeys but also contributes to future data analysis for the organization.In his first week, Krish was tasked with following the existing M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) metric, which he quickly realized was outdated, hefty, and time-consuming. Despite being under the weather, his determination sparked a new idea. He created a more efficient and sustainable metric system that streamlined data collection and progress tracking. This new system reduced the time required for reporting and introduced an automated method to create scholar progress report.This new metric was a significant breakthrough for the CANSHIP team, and it was met with praise and appreciation. The PA and SLOs acknowledged that this innovative system could finally offer a stable and effective solution, something the team had been striving for years to achieve. The entire team expressed their delight at the workload reduction and the improved efficiency.For Krish, creating this new metric was not just a professional milestone but a deeply personal one. It sparked his ability to take initiative and find solutions even in challenging circumstances. His time as a FV has helped hone his skills in data analysis, teamwork, and communication. As he progressed, he became more involved with Katha Bunaun Sessions (KB), where he collaborated with the school to enhance their educational offerings. Currently, he focuses on the storytelling section at Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), teaching over 100 students at Tarun Secondary School. "A few months ago, our team had a meeting with the Deputy Mayor and the KMC team, where they immediately recognized the significance of storytelling for young students. They proposed it as a new theme for the textbook-free Friday sessions, which we are implementing through our Katha Bunaun program across 18 government schools. Since 2016, Canopy has been enhancing educational access for students and implementing interactive programs for 14,000 students at the school level. With this partnership, we aim to extend our efforts to the system level, collaborating directly with local government to integrate storytelling and writing into schools."In this role as a Learning Facilitator, Krish has not only refined his teaching skills but also learned the importance of fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
