Role:** Managing a wide gamut of functions, viz. Finance, Accounts, Treasury, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Secretarial, Systems, Purchase, HR and Administration, since the inception of the Indian company in 1998. ** Handling operations related to project implementation, capital budgeting, capital expenditure & control.** Dealings with FIPB (SIA), RBI and other statutory bodies; involved in capital funding, borrowing, etc. – ECB of INR 105 million raised with RBI & MOF approval.** Ensuring company secretarial compliance, involved in filing of returns, conducting Board meetings and General Body meetings.** Managing matters related to direct and indirect taxation – Excise, Customs, Income Tax and Sales tax; handling appeals in Customs (SVB) and have been successful in protecting company’s interests.** Vetting all commercial transactions, agreements signed by the company and consulting experts.Highlights:** Distinction of winning an appeal against Customs at the Tribunal level on 25% loading by SVB on related party imports and achieving savings worth S$ 800k.** Successfully implemented an ERP package on ORCALE / VB platform integrating all the functions ** Effectively handled leased circuit and broad band communication connectivity from Corporate office at Chennai to the factory at Ranipet and Headquarters in Holland.** Played a major role in Working capital management – controlling inventory, receivables and payables with a net working capital of Rs 150+ million
