RICKOVER (SSN 795) as part of the initial manning and establishment of the pre-commissioning unit, selected to lead a division of five personnel to serve as Leading ELT. Oversaw all divisional programs, including radioactive material accountability, quarterly data reports, and chemistry trend analyses. Was responsible for maintaining the reactor and steam plant chemistry within specifications and taking immediate corrective actions when necessary. Collateral duties included serving as Work Center Supervisor, Quality Assurance Inspector, Duty Chief Petty Officer, and Log Room Assistant.Instrumental in the qualification and training of 48 personnel by delivering 51 hours of training, including ten lectures and ten radiological controls practical evolutions, ensuring the crew was prepared for New Construction Key Events.Mentored five junior personnel and implemented a comprehensive guided study program for the division resulting in improved divisional examination and interview results exceeding department metrics and producing one of the most knowledgeable and capable divisions in the Groton area.Established and flawlessly managed three command-level programs contributing to the successful beginning of the PCU RICKOVER Command.Directed the development of five qualification cards allowing PCU RICKOVER to commence provisionalqualifications within two weeks of establishing the command.Devoted significant time assisting two junior personnel through successfully completing the Operational Water Chemistry course, a course generally reserved for senior personnel and qualification as Leading Engineering Laboratory Technician.As Duty Chief Petty Officer, represented the command and interfaced with outside organizations, supervised a watch team of 15 personnel, coordinated command vehicles' use, ensured personnel onboard's safety and security, and maintaining proper control and usage of classified material.

Served aboard the USS FRANK CABLE (AS 40) as the Leading Petty Officer over 30 Nuclear Support Division (NSD) members. Responsible for supervising, monitoring, performing, and reviewing radiological work, surveys, and contamination controls.Duties include maintaining the internal monitoring program for radiation health records, overseeing the issuing and processing of radiation monitoring equipment, and using both single-channel and multi-channel analyzing equipment. Expertly directed and managed the successful completion of five Type Commander inspections and the 2018 Naval Reactors audit resulting in the renewal of CABLE's license to handle Radioactive Material.Guided the NSD through the recertification of the Radiological Emergency Response Organization, finalizing USS Frank Cable's designation as Lead Maintenance Activity at Naval Base Guam.Provided support and radiological oversight to 7 forward deployed submarines and Submarine Squadron 15 and supervised more than 100 radiological jobs supporting Fifth and Seventh Fleet operational readiness.Assisted with the revision of the Radiological Control Officer's Department Standing Orders and two command-wide instructions, as well as providing input to Norfolk Naval Shipyard for changes to the Naval Sea Systems Command manual on Radiological monitoring equipment and the drafting of the Submarine Force, US Pacific Fleet instruction on Radiation Health.Provided radiological expertise and experience to the NSD and trained Radiological Control Technicians, Contamination Workers, and USS FRANK CABLE visitors.Ensured over 2000 unmonitored personnel in spaces adjacent to radiological repair spaces were not exposed to radiation above the limits during USS FRANK CABLE's 9-month-long Dry-docking Phased Maintenance Availability by facilitating and reviewing 30,360 surveillances and 4,048 radiological surveys of Special Control Spaces by planning and organizing the placement of over 200 thermo-luminescent devices.

Served aboard the USS WYOMING (SSBN 742) as Leading Petty Officer directing a division of five personnel.Performed qualitative and quantitative analyses of reactor coolant water, steam generator water,feed and condensate water, and all grades of make-up water. Experience includes using various methods of corrective chemistry and trend analysis to preclude out-of-specification conditions. Obtained proficiency with the use of radiation detectors and performed surveys for alpha, beta, gamma, and neutron radiation.
