Managing a team of commercial support employees to achieve growth in our food ingredient business across Canada and the United States. Responsibilities include pricing, Principal coordinators, samples, inside sales, marketing strategy, market segmentation, and new business development.

Responsible for managing key Principal partnerships and growing business within our Food SBU.

In addition to my Marketing Manager responsibilities managing key Principal relationships in our Food business, I also manage a team of support staff including Inside Sales, Samples, Pricing and Technical Marketing.

Identify, review and analyze market research in the food, personal care, pharmaceutical and supplement markets and develop strategies to grow distribution business in Canada and the US.

Manage and develop relationships with National and Multinational Food Customers, including Head Office locations in Canada and in the US. Coordinate efforts with regional Sales Reps at locations across Canada.

Liaison to our Principal partners for food & pharmaceutical products. Respond to technical requests from our sales reps and customers, process samples, help with quality issues, assist with pricing, maintain website, assist with trade shows and marketing materials, set up codes.

Worked in the Molecular Biology and Protein Biochemistry labs helping to develop antibodies to treat cancer.
