We run two successful gyms located in West Auckland and North Shore. In my overall function I provide support at every level of the business ranging from Human Resources, Payroll and System Integration.A major part of my role here is moving largely paper based systems and processes into streamlined online databases. Those include; accounting, client database management, communication and payment systems.Policy writing, communicating key messages to staff and clients and Business Development Management also form part of my working schedule here.Systems that I work with frequently are Xero, Martialytics, Microsoft Applications, Debit Success and Vend.A large part of this role I am now integrating Debit Success Martial Software into our business to help streamline our payments and membership records.

I provide Account Management services across New Zealand for ATTNZ's client database.Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to: answering account queries, processing marketing requests, ensuring all marketing is within brand guidelines, processing client orders and queries, organising client events, managing monthly meetings and event management for High Performance camps.

My husband and I run the largest tournament circuit in New Zealand and have grown this to be one of the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere. Within this role I facilitate and coordinate 6 events annually across Auckland and Wellington.A key part of my role here is to ensure we provide a positive and safe environment for athletes of all ages to compete in. With very few competition venues available within New Zealand, it is my role to source appropriate venues to provide a regular tournament circuit. Key responsibilities include:Plan, design and produce events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits (6 annually)Liaise with key stakeholders to identify needs and to ensure deliveryConduct market research on vendors, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any dealsProvide feedback/financial analysis and periodic reports to stakeholdersPropose ideas to improve provided services and event qualityOrganise facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, equipment, promotional material etc.Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligationsSpecify staff requirements and coordinate their activitiesCooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicise eventProactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event dayConduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomesResearch market, identify event opportunities and generate interest
