Supported the delivery of the Stations Program, assisting with the development of strategic delivery strategies and supporting value engineering exercises, and worked closely with Sponsors on progressing the delivery of new stations throughout the project lifecycle. Led cross-functional program reporting, helping Sponsors foster multidisciplinary stakeholder engagement, and supported strategic planning to ensure efficient program delivery. Also provided ongoing support for the delivery of risk management for the Planning & Development Business Unit, including ad-hoc risk training, and supporting enterprise risk reporting.

Worked on the development and growth of corporate sponsorship practices, strengthening the delivery of capital programs. Collaboratively developed resources for Sponsors to help Sponsors guide projects through the project lifecycle, and facilitated engagement among stakeholders to enhance Sponsorship processes. Led the development of a lessons learned report, researched and assessed the issues experienced during the challenging delivery of a major project, and identified cross-functional solutions to support multidisciplinary teams in the future delivery of capital projects. Additional projects included KPI reporting, and overhauling the risk management reporting practices for the Planning and Development business unit.

Led several multimodal transportation planning projects for public and private sector clients across the United States and Canada. Responsibilities included technical analysis, project management, business development and team management. Projects included establishing municipal parking and transportation demand management (TDM) policies, designing corporate TDM programs, developing mobility and access plans for new development projects and master plans, supporting streetscape design projects, and coordinating human transportation service strategy updates. Facilitated the development of TDM policies and programs with several cities participating in the Bloomberg Philanthropies American Cities Climate Challenge, which included navigating and mapping out the necessary resources, stakeholders and approaches to ensure buy-in from clients to adopt the solutions, and effectively outlining how implement new policies and programs.

Provided consulting services as an analyst and project manager for several urban planning, facilities management and engineering projects. Primary urban planning work included analytical support for the development of a wayfinding strategy for a community in Lower Manhattan. Facilities management work included supporting the management of asset inventory projects and providing general regulatory compliance consulting support for various NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital sites. Additional responsibilities included the management of engineering design projects, including a pile remediation project for Pier 40, and supporting key business administration assignments such as proposal development and website management.

Participated as a consultant on a small interdisciplinary graduate student consulting team which evaluated existing operations, and the challenges and opportunities facing Hunts Point Produce Market. The project included the assessment of the synergies among transportation, energy and waste, with the intent to improve coordination and efficiency among the varying flows and stakeholders working in the market. Identified strategies and technical interventions to increase product flow efficiency within the market yard and strengthen data collection and analysis capacity through targeted application of geo-spatial and motion sensory technology. The market subsequently supported the findings and agreed to further explore the recommended solutions.

Aligned transportation demand management programming and policies to meet the goals of The Big Move. Responsibilities included managing Smart Commute programs and services for the 13 Transportation Management Associations, evaluating program metrics, and coordinating a regional stakeholder committee. Another key responsibility included leading the implementation of the internal Smart Commute program for Metrolinx employees, which included developing and securing buy-in for a telework pilot, which grew from a pilot in one department to a corporate-wide offering, and hosting outreach events throughout the organization. Led the organization to the highest participation rate among large employers in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area in the 2012 Clean Air Commute campaign.

Specialized in transportation demand management planning and outreach consulting, serving several municipalities and private organizations, with a focus on analysis, strategic planning, and program implementation. Key projects included municipal TDM plan development, Transportation Management Association (TMA) feasibility studies and organizational development, and community outreach.

Assisted with the zoning approval process at the City of Burlington, working with staff and citizens regarding zoning by-law inquiries; in person, at the counter or provided answers and assistance over the phone. The position required frequent review and issuance of development proposals and plans for zoning clearance certificates. The position also required an understanding of Planning Department requirements for site plan approvals, and provincial and municipal legislation. Many of the proposals required coordination of the approval conditions from other departments such as Building and Engineering.

Provided assistance to the BEDC team members by attending to a variety of tasks. Tasks varied from performing research and employment forecasting for Burlington and its surrounding region, to conducting accurate inventories of businesses in Burlington.
