Access Planning is an independent planning advisory firm that creates industry leading policies, plans and strategies to help clients solve the most complex problems, and build great cities and communities. Access Planning provides direct to client advisory and owner’s representative services, and also convenes specialized teams for major initiatives in partnership with larger firms. At Access Planning, we begin with the end in mind. We are focused on working with clients to achieve their strategic goals, developing practical and innovative approaches to building great cities, vibrant communities and viable projects. We do this work at all levels — from hands on training and capacity building to long-range planning exercises; from strategic advisory services to managing capital investment projects. At whatever scale, our work is guided by our belief that strong communities and cities are defined by their access to the basic DNA behind what makes great places work. Things like access to information, access to good process and decision-making, access to opportunity, and access to the full potential of the built, social, economic, and natural assets within the places we call home.
