I have been in customer service and fostering my communication skills since my first job at age 16. After a brief period in education, I pursued a legal career in which I enhanced my analytical, persuasive and advocacy skills, as well as organization, time management, goal setting, planning and preparation. I am a detail-oriented writer and researcher, and a quick learner who loves to learn new things.For the past 5 years, I have worked in consumer collections, in which I work closely with some of the world’s largest banking institutions to resolve loan defaults with their customers. This requires an experienced level of communication, customer service, problem solving, and organization. I work in a high-volume business in which at any time I oversee and am responsible for bringing over 1,000 individual matters to resolution, which requires a significant amount of time and case management. As the data I work with is highly confidential and personal, I also have become highly knowledgeable on Privacy issues, laws (including but not limited to GLBA), and protocols.When I am not working you can find me training for and completing long distance (100+ mile) bike tours, cooking (and eating) plant-based recipes, organizing and managing my finances, traveling to new places or relaxing and spending quality time with my dog.
