As my kids have grown so have I. I started as an involved mom volunteering my time in their schools. After a time I became the PTA president. My love of Book Fairs led me to a job at Scholastic Book Fairs part-time as a merchandiser. My husband started a Snap-on Tools franchise and I did the bookkeeping and merchandising for him and eventually sales. That led me to be the merchandiser and sales assistant to another Snap-on dealer as well. My two oldest graduated HS and we decided to relocate to Idaho. I found a job as the receptionist and office admin for a carpet cleaning company where my sales experience was a bonus. While there I also learned new marketing and computer skills. After a bit I found my current position as the receptionist and office admin of a construction company. After 2 years I am now increasing my knowledge and skill set by working to become a Contract Administrator. My willingness to take on new challenges and learn new things along with my other skills has made me a valued part of the team.
