About Krista Knechtle

I am a passionate educator who believes in the power of education to enact social change. Constantly learning, unlearning, and relearning, I have experience both locally and abroad in the fields of experiential and community-based education, youth empowerment and sustainable livelihoods projects. I am a passionate believer in the power of not underestimating an individual's capabilities before giving them the chance to ask their own questions and find their own answers.Throughout these experiences, I have been able to gain tangible skills in many different fields including event planning, workshop facilitation, program coordination and community partnerships. I have worked in developing programs from the ground up and in cold calling, expanding existing networks, and reorienting longstanding programming. I'm a quick learner, a hard worker and I value nothing more than working with an organisation working towards a mission I am inspired by. Are you passionate about community, education, or social change and are looking for someone with a broad range of skills and experiences? Lets start a conversation. specialties: facilitation, program coordination, higher education, community engagement, communications, program development, event planning, teamwork, and motivation.
