• Student management and advising for Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs students engaging capstone policy research projects with Governmental, Non-Profit and Private organizations, as well as Indigenous Governments. • Strategic Client Recruitment and Engagement of new and ongoing Global Policy Project clients.• In collaboration with the teaching team, designing, implementing, and evaluating effective learning activities, tools, and resources intended to build the capacity of students to be successful in their projects.• Provides ongoing oversight and management of all Global Policy Project activity and logistics across student teams, Course Instructions, SPPGA Faculty-leads, and clients. • Collection, synthesis and maintenance of data necessary for strategic reporting and marketing. • Leading the design and implementation of annual SPPGA Global Policy Project Symposium.

• One of four UBC students working on a three-month, unpaid internship with The AIDS Support Organization in Kampala, Uganda coordinated by the University of British Columbia’s International Service Learning Program. • Conducted research into various topics in order to develop a curriculum, including a manual and facilitation guide, which will be disseminated nationally to allow for increased uniformity and innovation across the 11 centers so as to best serve TASO’s more than 100,000 clients. • Coordinated and conducted interviews with 12 staff experts including senior management and front-line staff. • Coordinated and implemented a Pilot Project with 30 TASO staff to test aforementioned curriculum. • Monitored and evaluated the pilot program to make necessary adjustments to the curriculum before it is rolled out nationally. • Promoted the SLP Strategy to senior management at TASO, Management at TASO Masaka, local government officials and community partners in order to increase ownership and support for the program. • Created a transition plan for the next phase of interns, who are currently working in Uganda. • Coordinated a team of 8 individuals to present a featured presentation about our projects at the 2013 Impact Symposium on International Development in Vancouver.
