During my first year, my position evolved from Receptionist to Recruiter and then to Facilities Manager. In my second year, I advanced to West Coast Regional Manager. In less than 3 years, I managed office growth and expansion for 10 engineers to over 400+ in Kirkland/Seattle.My regional facilities manager responsibilities were:• Interviewed, hired and trained West coast facilities team.• Managed regional team of over 15 employees in 7 locations.• Ensured professional development within team through individual and group training.• Responsible for employee reviews, counseling, and goal establishment.• Managed and tracked financial reports including attendance, payroll, and temporary staffing.• Developed and implemented site-specific office standards, and policies and procedures.• Planned, organized and managed activities pertaining to mail services, reception services, safety and security, event planning, transportation, office expansion among other facility-related responsibilities.• Provided ongoing move project management including coordination of office renovations, space planning services and staff re-locations.• Provided site support such as new hire orientation, site tours and new hire workstation set-ups. • Acted as interface between Google management, vendors and guests.• Managed vendor contracts and building management services including janitorial services, beverages and snacks, catering and food services, first aid supplies, plant services, and HVAC.• Oversaw and coordinated deliveries of site amenities - massage, food, linens, shred-it, etc.• Updated emergency response plans: evacuation, after-hours emergency response, and strategies for environmental health and safety.• Collaborated with Google’s ERT and Fire Life Safety depart to monitor compliance with state and local regulatory requirements.• Prepared and maintained reports detailing mail services, reception duties, incoming and outgoing calls, ticket trending, helpdesk, and more.
