Develop relationships with new small scale LNG customers in order to build a new business for Shell. Build supply and distribution channel solutions to supply customers in the South Florida and Caribbean areas. Develop project milestones to deliver supply solutions.

Manage relationships with nonene customers which included: negotiating monthly pricing, negotiating contract amendments to determine agreed upon price points, volume requirements/contract term and managing supply issues. Responsibilities also require developing/managing relationships at the plant to ensure manufacturing is taking into account the full end-to-end value (from refinery to chemicals) when making economic and operational decisions. This will entail educating and influencing the site on margin value of nonene and tetramer as well as impacts operational decisions have on contractual obligations.

Developed and implemented a program management process that cultivated a strong working relationship between styrene commercial and site manufacturing organization that previously did not exist. The program will deliver 1.5 million in margin improvements and 5 million in capital cost savings by end 2015. Additionally, commissioned an end-to-end value study that demonstrated a run and maintain approach was the most value add position for the Enterprise and subsequently stopped all growth initiatives. Worked closely with the onsite Business Opportunity Manager and Technology group to identify and map out margin and energy improvements to be delivered in the short term that will deliver 3-5 million in improvements through 2017. Stakeholder engagement and influencing at all levels of the organization and across Manufacturing and Chemicals was critical in successful delivery. Project Highlights• Developed a comprehensive strategy to change the perception of polystyrene and its recyclability in the Greater Houston Area. This involved meeting with the City of Houston to ensure our product would be included in future city wide recycling efforts, developing relationships with other styrenics companies, organizing Earth Day activities and presenting a new marketing strategy to be rolled out to Houston consumers. • Re-designed the global Shell styrene website to inform consumers and customers about the product’s safety and superiority to other alternatives. The result is a dynamic website that is in line with what Shell would like our customers, other styrenics companies and the industry to communicate to end users of our products.• Authored and presented multiple industry talks that emphasized activities commissioned in Houston, recycling efforts that Shell supports as well as other activities that will change the perception of polystyrene throughout the industry.

Support senior project developers for an integrated multibillion dollar project. Work with project leads and new business development commercial professionals to develop a world-class investment proposal based on sound economic assumptions and incorporating state of the art thinking on risks and uncertainties both in terms of upsides and downsides. Relationship building is key as the integration road map is developed.

Promotion to senior consultant and Regional Focal Point with responsibility to develop/improve quality assurance processes, on-boarding and training of new joiners, and developing a sustainable foundation for a dynamic, global team. Managed resourcing/project allocation across 5 regions globally as the Regional Focal Point, engaged with stakeholders to develop new business, ensured team compliance with processes. Managed scoping, design, and development of fit-for-purpose models encouraging the business to eliminate, standardize, simplify and automate processes. Facilitated the knowledge sharing and professional development of employees by conducting courses on best practice model design, risk mitigation techniques and financial concepts to non-finance professionals.

Promoted in role and appointed Global Financial lead for multiple key projects. Other responsibilities included providing accurate, timely and relevant data to senior management (locally and globally) to assist in performance and financial analysis. Coordinating and managing annual business plan development of $250 million p.a. Reviewing current processes to determine potential areas of simplification and cost savings.
