Manage technical day-to-day direction for Unitaid–funded project, Transforming Intermittent Preventive Treatment for Optimal Pregnancy (TIPTOP). This project will scale up an innovative, community-based approach to expand coverage of intermittent preventive treatment (IPTp) for pregnant women in four African countries. Support the Project Director with monitoring project activities and deliverables and serve as a liaison between Jhpiego headquarters and country teams to establish long-range strategies that lead to the development of sustainable programming. Provide substantive technical assistance to Ministry of Health (MOH) counterparts and support cross-fertilization of innovations and implementation approaches across programs in the country and globally.

Provide support to global, regional and country level efforts to accelerate malaria prevention and control across 19 focus countries with the aim of increasing malaria in pregnancy (MIP) coverage and improving key outcomes. Manage and coordinate efforts within the MIP team and across technical teams for workplan development to achieve MIP objectives under the Maternal & Child Survival Program (MCSP). Manage key MIP core activities, coordinate with key stakeholders and ensure programs are effectively implemented, executed and monitored. Support country level MIP activities in Tanzania and Liberia.
