Kristen manages the creative team at Omaha Magazine. She oversees the design creative for 11 recurring publications, and various specialty publications. She collaborates with the publisher, editors, photographers, and fellow designers on creative content, while ensuring consistent branding throughout individual magazines. She has created advertising campaigns for various events and festivals as well as marketing sales materials. Her responsibilities include hiring new employees and recruiting freelance creatives, as well as managing time lines for all publications and the designers responsible for meeting those deadlines. She tracks individual magazine production deadlines including: editorial, photography, advertisement, layout, proofing, editing, printing, mailing, and distribution.

As well as contributing to the content and design of Omaha Magazine, Kristen is also the lead designer of two sister publications: The Encounter, a bi-monthly publication that focuses on Downtown Omaha and the Old Market, and HerFamily, a monthly publication focused on women and their families. Kristen was the quality maintenance designer illustrating for the online app, Step Up To Life, which encourages young people to make good decisions and evaluate where they are going in life. Also, she contributed to the sister company, Creative Center College of Art and Design, by giving pro revisions and helping students with their design classes.

During Kristen's two years plus at ADC she was able to creatively concept for over 100 projects. Clients regularly complimented on the fresh look and creativeness of her designs. For a designer with few years in the business, her concepts would often outshine even the most seasoned Art Directors and Graphic Designers.

Kristen managed the dietary needs of the patients residing in the Nebraska Methodist Health System. This included counting calories and monitored sodium, gluten, fat intake, etc., and made sure that the patients were healthy and full. It required a bedside manner to calm sick and restricted patients as well as their sometimes upset or impatient families.
