Digital Literacy Librarian/Supervisor

Duties:• Supervise Computer Lab Monitors and Library Assistants at Old Town Library• Hire and schedule Computer Lab Monitors as needed• Manage Computer Lab at Old Town Library• Manage the Media Mentors team• Coordinate and schedule instructors for all digital literacy classes• Provide training for both staff and patrons with regard to the latest technologies and newest services provided by the library• Teach digital literacy classes• Create and implement digital literacy programing for kids, tweens, teens and adults• Provide great customer service as a reference desk librarianCurrent/Recent Teams, Committees and Accomplishments within Poudre Libraries: • SharePoint File Sharing Team - Created organizational structure, governance, charter, and staff trainings, Learning Cache and Digital Competencies to match OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint needs• Hiring committees - Adult Services, Youth Services, LA positions, Computer Lab Monitors, Communications, Subs, and Collection Development• Customer Digital Experience Team - mobile app and PIN implementation• Media Mentors/Adult Programming - 2019 stats (last year with in person classes) - 96% of people “I will take another class from the library”• Digital Roots with Larimer County - aligned in person computer classes with NorthStar assessments• Equity Diversity and Inclusion Committee - wrote the RFP awarded to Think Again in 2021• Computer Lab update/remodel - fewer patron incidents due to spacing and privacy• Curbside Printing at all libraries during the pandemic closures - over 875 unique users printed nearly 1700 jobs• OTL remodel - Design Team for the Lobby, “Treehouse” area and east bump out, increasing computer work space• CSU Women in Science Network presentation - December 2020
