My practice focuses on shareholder-related and commercial disputes, board and special committee investigations, and SEC enforcement proceedings. I advise leading public companies in responding to shareholder demands, conduct investigations, and defend corporations, officers, and directors in high-stakes litigation in courts throughout the country. It is deeply rewarding to be involved in clients’ most complex and weighty issues. I also am deeply involved in both firm and civic life. I serve on Sidley's Executive Committee and co-lead our global Commercial Litigation and Disputes practice. I am a firmwide chair of the firm’s Committee for the Evaluation and Compensation of Associates, and serve on the DEI Committee. Outside the firm, I serve on the board of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, and am the past board chair and current emeritus board member of Mujeres Latinas en Acción. Honored to be a Leadership Greater Chicago Daniel Burnham Fellow (Class of 2023), a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow, (Class of 2017), and a member of the Chief network of senior women executives.
