About Kristian Kiel

I'm a flexible, eager to learn, fair, good colleague kind of guy, who is always positive and makes the best out of things.I have a good and wide experience within the transport business, beeing everything from LOGISTICS, WAREHOUSING, ROAD, AIR, SEA transport and to buying the transports. On top of that I have earlier been in charge of a warehouse and was involved in "building up same". Employed a guy, systemized handling of the goods, regristration of furnitures incomming/outgoing, customs clearance etc. So for some years I was buying transport in stead of selling it, which in many ways gives me the advantage when communicating/negociating with customers/suppliers and freight forwarders !! For about 10 years I was controlling tanker vessels. It was challenging and demanding and I liked it. At Herning Shipping, especially the last 2 ½ year was interesting where I was involved in the optimization processes and developed/started a new department with new tasks etc. The Owners however, decided to close down the office in Herning and move it to Copenhagen. As such, I changed job to Freight Forwarder at Leman Transport - Seafreight Export Worldwide, where I worked for about 1,5 year untill a down periode came. Still business as usual - Top professional and eager to please the customers, suppliers and develop personally along with colleagues and a new exiting company :)Now I can even add some leadership experience, as the Head of Stock and Shipment department leading about 25 employees including a couple of trainees towards cultural change, better working invironment and extended coorperation.Still going strong... who's ganna enjoy my positive mindset and LEAN skills ?
