I enjoyed a highly successful career including Project Management, Accounting, Sales, Service, and Compliance in the corporate environment for 23 years. I was then fortunate enough to have an opportunity to leave the corporate environment mid-career to pursue personal interests including travel, entrepreneurial activities, and spend more time with family.During this "sabbatical", I created a vintage home decor business - Raccoons in the Attic (RITA). It's a fun outlet where I get to learn an entirely different industry, research/comply with each state's regulations, travel & meet new people, and demonstrate my creativity in curation, up-cycling, design, and artistic expression.Now that I have fully established my hobby business, RITA, which occupies a couple of weekends a month, I have returned full-time to the corporate world where I can continue to lead projects of cross-functional groups that effectively solve problems, achieve goals, and further the corporate objectives.I know it may sound "nerdy", but I get so much personal satisfaction from being able to solve a problem for someone, or to develop and successfully implement a well-thought-out project plan, with contingencies and checkpoints, allowing me to solicit input, communicate results, and provide insights to executive leadership. I'm pretty excited about where I am with my life, personally and professionally. So, here I am, actively living the dream!
