I was assigned as the newest hired Crime Prevention Specialist since 2007, to revamp the Crime Prevention effort in the Office of the Sheriff, and rebooting old Neighborhood Watch groups and soliciting new groups. In the effort, i have written brand new collateral for the Unit, both for the Board of Supervisors and other collaborative units within the Department, as well as the public. I trained new Specialists as they were hired for the Unit, showing them how to make a presentation as well as control an audience. I also assisted in the registration of new and existing PC290 registrants.
