ISSD Africa is a four-year (2023-2027), SDC-funded award that aims to enhance smallholder farmers' access to quality seed. Specific attention is given to uniting international and African organizations and experts working on humanitarian, development and peace (HDP) interventions in Africa’s seed sector. Mercy Corps leads two action learning projects under the award: 1) Humanitarian seed response in fragile and conflict-affected contexts (with SeedSystem) and 2) Seed business development in fragile contexts (with IFDC).
