Supervised the operations of 18 civilian and military analysts, with an emphasis on providing technical advice and quality control for Army analysis. Led the planning and execution for two studies centered on future requirements for counter – small unmanned aircraft systems, notably spearheading the Army’s first rigorous counter small-UAS study under extremely compressed timelines. Successfully synchronized the activities of novel modeling and simulation techniques, table-top exercises, and a broad industry survey of emerging technologies to inform large investment decisions. This study was awarded, the Army’s top study in FY22. Led the design and development of an innovative combat model and successfully overcame institutional barriers to using novel modeling methods by building trust among various stakeholders, ultimately garnering recognition from the Army Modeling and Simulation Office. This model was selected as the best paper at the Army Operations Research Symposium in FY23.
