* Actively participating in running the Daily Wholesale Electricity Market (including weekend shifts).* Investigating issues and queries with market submission errors, and participant submissions.* Reporting problems with the market and issuing Market Advisories informing participants of issues/outages leading to improved stakeholder management.* Answering participant’s queries, data extracts, consulting and referencing the Wholesale Electricity Market Rules.* Checking metering event log daily, investigating issues.* Liaising with Western Power regarding metering issues.* Investigating participant queries regarding meter data leading to improved stakeholder relationships.* Pro actively ensuring meter data and processes are up to date resulting in limited disagreements/discrepancies when settling the market.* Comprehensively updated and maintained internal metering procedure manual.* Running Initial and Adjustment settlement runs.* Settling monetary transactions in STEM and Non-STEM settlement runs.* Investigating settlement related issues, due to meter data discrepancies and participant disagreements, for resolution in future adjustments.* Creating and updating settlement scripts for settlement runs.* Answering market participant’s registration queries.* Investigating registration issues and accepting user’s registration requests.* Issuing digital certificates and accepting new users in registration.* Liaising and walking potential Market Participants through the registration process.* Developed Excel tools utilising SQL queries to extract data from the IMO’s databases.* Testing various updates and releases for the WEM.
