Advisor on matters relating to the Army Retention Program, under the operational supervision of the Active Army career counselor. Maintains and provides monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year statistics for the commander. Reviews and maintains the retention data worksheets for all Soldiers. Screens local training records and rosters to obtain qualification data for retention actions and records. Special emphasis will be placed upon reporting and recording current reenlistment eligibility. Coordinates all reenlistment, extension, and ceremonies through the Army career counselor, as appropriate.

Team leader in a counter IED platoon; responsible for the health welfare and training of four soldiers; responsible for rendering safe and tactically exploding IED events; providing forensic and associated intelligence to higher command. Participated in IED finds/detonations, cashes and raided of IED network facilitators. Responsible for the logistics and maintenance of over $75,000 in equipment.

Responsible for the accomplishment of department of the Army assigned quantitative enlistment objectives, tasked with meeting daily, weekly and monthly prospecting requirements through telephone, area canvasing, referral, and internet lead generation. Prepared and conducted interviews with applicants to support annual quotas. Responsible for establishing and maintaining close coordination with high school, college and community officials to implement and conduct a variety of community out reach programs.
