I started my own business back in 2007 in England to go alongside my regular employment work. I ran jobs from small kitchen renovations to building custom homes. During this time i have picked up skills such as contract negotiating, project management, time management, problem solving skills, the ability to communicate with work colleagues and clients.

During my time at The State Group Inc. I started as a journeyman carpenter performing formwork tasks and other rough carpentry work. After 2 months i was made lead carpenter for a job site in Barrie, Ontario. My duties in this role were to lead the task force, read blueprints and set out the job site.

Duties include writing up a schedule of work and time scale for work to be completed, Selecting teams of trades to complete the job, communicating with clients, checking quality of workmanship, signing the job off on completion.

At Hillcrest Developments I started as an apprentice carpenter during my 4 years with the company I learned all aspects of carpentry and passed my college Dipolma with a distinction. During my 3rd year i was made general foreman and was in charge of a team of carpenters, decorators, plasterers and plumbers.
