Morris County MultiSports is a triathlon club based out of Lakeland Hills YMCA, in Morris County. This club was started in 2008 by a group of triathletes looking to train together and make new friends and help new people get introduced to the sport. Athletes range from multi-Ironman finishers and elite age group competitors as well as first time athletes looking to complete their first triathlon. We called ourselves a "multisport" team because we wanted to include people who might just want to swim/bike/run not all in the same event, but are looking for training partners to help stay motivated. My duties as President include, organize and lead monthly meetings, arrange speakers for each months meeting, promote organization of group workouts as well as the team sponsored indoor triathlon at the LHYMCA held in March.
