Throughout my secretarial career, I have experienced a variety of law; from Domestic and Civil Litigation to Workers Compensation and Personal Injury. I’ve met with clients to get initial intake information from them to better serve the attorney prior to their meeting the client. I’ve scheduled independent medical examinations, depositions, statements under oath, etc.I have also been responsible for the following:reviewing incoming mail;ordering supplies;preparing correspondence and drafting pleadings;making travel arrangements;courthouse filings (both manually and electronic filing);accounts payable/accounts receivable;maintaining office equipment;requesting medical records; andorganizing and maintaining files.
