Research and Developement for a simple muscle measurement device which would be used as a fitness tool to show performance improvements.

Garbage In, Good Parts out.I was responsible for sorting out large volumes of mystery personal computer parts per month. We would get pallets of unknown PC devices which would require QA, QC and packaging for consumer purchase. The final step in this process was selling our wares to the public via weekend computer swap meets and shows throughout the SF Bay.

I provided solutions and support for a small Pharmaceutical office. Duties included upgrading systems, offsite archiving, desktop support and light networking projects.

Small-time computer shop run by business owners who were more pre-occupied in their exotic cars rather than their side business. I almost bought this small-biz but got some good advice from a dear friend right before I wrote the check. I was the last line of defense for dealing with screaming, irate customers who had been fandangled by the owners. ugh.

In the time of XT & AT computers, the 8-bit life was simple. Low level format an MFM 10MD HD and wait 2 hours. I worked for female-minority business which also made my first real-world job a fun experience.
