Krys is a trailblazing first-generation Nigerian who is shaping narratives in the entertainment industry and leaving a mark on Spotify's Content Partnerships team. As the very first black member of the team, Krys has facilitated collaborations with some of Spotify's top black creators and artists, such as DJ Akademiks, 21 Savage, Flo Milli, Roddy Rich, Asake, and more. Krys helped lead Spotify's content strategy pivot from multi-million dollar, exclusively licensed creator deals, to the creation of the Rising Creators Program, a scaled program that is inclusive to creators of all sizes. Her efforts have helped turn Spotify into a global champion for diverse creators, launching global campaigns that propel them into unexplored spaces. From spearheading groundbreaking initiatives like New York and Milan Fashion Week to amplifying Afrobeats in West Africa, Krys is a force for transformative storytelling.
