Growing up, I was obsessed with horses, computers, and music (in no particular order). Coming from a line of musicians, my grandparents really pushed for me to go into music as my field of study. I, as the adamant child, didn't want to take on a career based on a hobby. Instead, my hobby would be my escape, and my career would pay for my horses.Twenty years later, I found myself working for a podcast host (and still riding). 🤷♀️Product development and the overall user experience has become almost an obsession for me, looking at a product and figuring out how to make it better, how to make it competitive, how to make it something valuable (or knowing when to cut it entirely). I've spent 20 years of my professional career learning - really learning - user behavior and how our services and education around those services are driven by that behavior. I've spent time working in all levels of technical support and service, education, and development. That experience has taught me how to listen to a customer (even when they are angry) and see through to the problem that needs solving. When a solution really hits it's mark with users, that is the best feeling in the world.I look forward to connecting with you!
