My expertise extends to designing instructor-led (ILT), virtual instructor-led (VILT), e-learning and blended learning programs, as well as creating microlearning modules (often using Camtasia or Vyond) and job aids (often using Canva). Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite, I craft comprehensive facilitator and learner guides to enhance learning experiences.I base my design process on the ADDIE model. I begin each project by conducting a needs analysis (if one has not already been created). I then meet with stakeholders to determine learning gaps and set objectives, based upon that needs assessment. Working together, I craft a roadmap for a learning solution. Next, I draft a design document and then, if needed, a storyboard for review and revision by stakeholders. As I design, I communicate clearly with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the instructional content makes sense and aligns accurately with the learning objectives and organizational goals. I am also sure to design with adult learning principles in mind. Once all stakeholders have agreed to move forward, I develop the course, again moving it through the review and revision process. Finally, I roll out the course, being sure to evaluate learner response to ensure a gap-filled and enjoyable experience.
